Hitting off mostly dirt with old beat up balls over priced 14 dollars for large bucket would not recommend

Basically the only place around town to show up and hit some balls so I guess it is better than nothing. That said, the vast majority of the balls they dispense are basically smooth rocks and completely worthless for feedback. You usually get enough good ones to save for your driver. Another (likely related) problem is that the last few times I've gone there is always someone at the back of the range either picking up balls to (presumably) steal them or poorly parented children from the nearby baseball park wandering around. The back of the range and beyond is easily reachable especially with the prevailing south wind.

The range balls are terrible. 90% of the balls have no dimples and the other 10% are used personal balls with cuts. You cannot get a true feel for flight or distance. They spend money on silly things like range targets and bay dividers instead of new balls or paving their parking lot. It is a high volume range that isn't rotated properly so most of the time you are hitting off dirt. Could be a great range with great views but the quality is not there. this range serves all of Northern Arizona, even the local private course and is a disappointing experience.
